A store was selling a king size bedroom package that didn't contain pieces that I wanted. I was able to locate the pieces on sale at Belfort; however, I called the store and sent a Facebook message to ask questions about the pieces, but no one answered my calls or responded to the message. The items were listed as in-stock on the website, so I placed an order and included delivery. Within 12 hours, I received an email from customer service confirming the items were in-stock and to select a day and time range to have the items delivered. The conversation was professional and courteous. The delivery driver sent a text to indicate he was on the way and he respected our COVID protocols by wearing a mask and even took off his shoes to avoid tracking in mud! Great delivery team and great customer service.

Huge selection to choose from. Be aware that while they have a lot of things in stock, some special order items (like the 2 piece sofa that matches the 3 piece that was in stock) may take 25 weeks to be delivered!!! I guess we'll only have half a living room until Thanksgiving! To be fair, every furniture store we've been in has the same issue right now. Just be prepared that you may have an extended wait depending on what you want.

Had a few problems with initial delivery. Bedroom dresser arrived not completely finished, and the first delivery crew hit the top of our front door frame, crushing the wood frame. Belfort immediately fixed the door, and followed up by ordering a new replacement for the large dresser. It arrived last week and was flawless. Our experience at Belfort has been better than expected! The sales team is around on the floors but don't try to oversell, which we appreciated. Apparently, shopping for a bedroom set during a pandemic apparently means waiting 5-9 months for the pieces to arrive. We had to keep calling back to get updates as the delivery dates kept getting set out-- frustrating, yes, but we understand no one's had it easy in this pandemic. When the last of our order arrived, the nightstands had many issues-- one had a drawer that was crooked and did not close flush. We brought one back to exchange. The exchanged one had a crooked leg that was impossible to bend back in place, so we knew it's a manufacturer defect. This is the manufacturer's fault and not Belfort's but Belfort owned the issue. Since we've already had to go back to exchange once, they've offered to have this second replacement delivered to us and pick up the defective nightstand. Both of the Customer Care reps I spoke to were friendly, courteous, anticipated my questions, and were quick to offer resolutions. Btw-- the nightstands themselves were very disappointing. Would not recommend the Bobby Berk Gehl Nightstands. They're pretty but a 50% defect rate is pretty disappointing.

I ordered in October, was told November. That changed to December then was given a date of Dec 20 so donated my couch the week before. Date was changed to 12/25 then 1/12 then 1/17, now it's supposed to be here the week of 2/14. I do think concessions need to be made. But since no effort has been made so far I'm just crossing my fingers that my sofa actually shows up.

Update: received my sofa today. The delivery guys were great, put it exactly where I asked them and cleaned up after themselves. They were in and out in 15 minutes. Great service!!!

I have been a customer of Belfort Furniture for 20 years. Almost every room in my house has been furnished by them. I decided this past February, right before everything closed due to the pandemic, to order new furniture for my kitchen and family room. Terrible timing, but it was done.

We hit the jackpot with our salesperson/designer/decorator, Jay Heinbaugh. He sat down with my husband and I to discuss what we were looking for, what styles/colors we liked, and our price point/budget. We scheduled to have him come to our house to take measurements and photos, plus get a real feel for the spaces we were looking to redecorate. I can't say enough about this service. There's a minimal cost that will go towards your purchase, if you spend over a certain amount.

Now, because we ordered our furniture weeks before everything shut down, including the manufacturers, of course delivery was delayed. However, it was worth the wait. Jay's design was gorgeous!!! The pictures of the design plan were beautiful, but once everything was delivered, I couldn't believe these were the same rooms as prior to Jay's work. He nailed it, hit it out of the park. My husband couldn't care less about decor, but 2 months later, he's still saying how amazing the two newly decorated rooms look. The delivery team was outstanding, and all wore masks during the delivery process. We had an issue with one piece of furniture, which was a manufacturer defect, and Belfort Customer Service was very accommodating. They took back the piece that was defective and allowed us to order something else instead. We chose this option as the manufacturer's photo of the item didn't match what it actually looked like.

I can't say enough about Belfort Furniture, their crown jewel Jay Heinbaugh, or their in home design services. Whether you're looking for very affordable starter furniture, something middle of road, or more high end furniture, this is your store, and hope you get lucky enough to work with Jay. He's truly amazing at what he does.

We've been on the hunt for a new dining room set for what feels like a trillion years (partially because it HAS been a long time and partially because time has lost all meaning during the pandemic.) We came to Belfort because my husband had a positive experience buying furniture from them back in his bachelor days, hehe, and I thought it was a pretty great experience!

They are taking masking, social distancing, and sanitization quite seriously, which made me feel good about spending time there. The salesman who initially approached us, Rudi, was super helpful without being overreaching or pushy at all. We enjoyed touring their Showroom #1 (their "luxury" gallery) best, but the main showroom (#3) was also laid out well and they have a LOT of different things to choose from. The kids section upstairs was especially tantalizing for my toddler -- pretty sure we're going to cave and get her one of the play loft beds pretty soon.

I would definitely recommend Belfort as they seem to have a great, expansive selection and have a handle on the safety precautions to make folks feel secure while shopping. We still haven't come to any decisions on that dining set so I can't speak to the actual purchasing process just yet, but I'm sure we'll be heading back before long.

We have had a great experience with Belfort. My husband and I had in mind a bedroom collection by Aspenhome and Belfort Furniture had it in display in one of their showrooms, so we went to check it out. Janice Weber helped us finding the set in the building and gave us detailed information every time we had a question. Janice was very kind, professional, and helpful. I wanted the complete set and she ordered it to the manufacturing company right away, in late February 2020. She mentioned that when furniture is ordered to the manufacturer, it might take a few months to get to their warehouse. She always explained everything to detail and despite Covid, Janice kept me updated at all times.

The first week of May we received our bedroom set. Delivery team was careful, polite, and very professional. They took care of my furniture as well as my property. Unfortunately, a few items arrived damaged from the manufacturing company, and I contacted Janice regarding this matter. She forwarded my message to customer service and a few hours later, Mindy Noll was calling me to verify all damaged items and re-order them as soon as possible, along with the manufacturing paint for retouch. Mindy was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, kept communication open at all times, and showed kindness and empathy about this situation. She also put me in touch with John Errico, a technician that works for Belfort Furniture. Some of the re-ordered items arrived with minor paint scratches and John did an amazing job at repairing those. He went beyond expectations in delivering such an amazing service.

During these difficult months, where businesses have closed, reduced personnel, and slowed down processing time, Belfort Furniture has always been there for me. Calling, emailing, delivering, installing, re-touching, you name it, it has been a pleasure doing business with them. I honestly do not understand the bad reviews on certain subjects and blaming Belfort for it, when the majority of issues proceed from the manufacturing company itself. For example, the waiting time to get the furniture to your house, like I have read in some of these posts, depends on how fast the manufacturer makes it and have it delivered to their warehouse.

People forget to do their homework at home and expects an express 2-day process. Inform yourself about manufacturers and their manufacturing time frame. Inform yourself about furniture warranties, each collection varies. Read the contract, including the small letter, before you sign anything. Be polite and treat people with respect, so you can be treated the same way. Customer service and sales professionals have to deal with hundreds of people every day, with so many different requests, and at the end of the day that is very tiring. Stop blaming companies for something that they are not guilty off and creating a bad reputation for them.

I highly recommend buying from Belfort Furniture. Great customer service and down to earth people. Thank you again!

Great staff and selection. The only reason I put four stars instead of five is because of the quality of furniture they originally sold us. We bought 2 dining benches and 4 dining chairs. The legs were uneven on the benches and Belfort sent technicians out on two separate occasions to fix them. They even replaced the chairs and the new chairs had the same problem. They were nice enough to let us return the chairs for store credit and pick something else out, so serious kudos for that.

I went to Belfort to do reconnaissance on my options for a new loveseat.

When I arrived, my first priority became a visit to the ladies room. I found it to be well lit, clean, and well stocked with paper products, and hand cleanser. The sink area was dry and I felt the responsibility to wipe up the splashes of water from my own washing, to keep it for the next visitor.

Back to shopping. I was quickly greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman, Davis. Because I had done some of my own research, I had a specific list of needs and one item that I felt was optional. That narrowed down the field to three models, and my revelation of my spacial constraints took it to one contender.

Davis used one of his business cards to list the relevant details of the loveseat. With the information he gave, I will be able to contact him and order the loveseat without having to drive back to the showroom, which is a good gas savings for me, and the environment, and a time saver for both of us.

Davis also told me that they do not haul away the furniture that's being replaced. That was bad news, but he followed it with a bit of good news as well. He was able to recommend a service called 123Junk. These guys haul away your stuff then figure out if any of it can be repaired and donated to those in need. What can't be gets disassembled and as much of it is recycled as possible, minimizing the carbon footprint.

I'll definitely be keeping both contacts in my list. This was quite a pleasant experience.

We did some remodeling, which included finishing our basement for an apartment for my mother-in-law. We went to Belfort to purchase new stylish family room furniture for us and living room & bedroom furniture for her. Upon entering the store we were greeted by Chris Palomo, who was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable of all of the different manufacturers and styles. Although the store was busy and he had multiple customers, he never made us feel as though we weren't important. He gave us time to browse and was attentive when we needed him. He was immensely helpful with color and style selections. The selection of furniture was amazing, covering every style you could think of. Our furniture was delivered on time and by 2 very efficient and courteous men. Our overall experience was Fantastic and I have and will continue to recommend Belfort for everyone's furniture needs.

I had several issues with a sofa I bought at Belfort Furniture. I learned that the sofa was recently out of warranty and the sofa was not holding up very well. I called Customer Service and spoke to Melinda (Mindy) Noll. She was extremely helpful. She asked for photos showing the problems, which I sent. She readily exchanged my shedding down cushions for foam ones. The fabric was also not wearing well. Mindy sent the cushion fabric to the manufacturer who agreed there was a defect. I know that Mindy advocated on my behalf which brought me to a very happy ending. I am now getting a full credit for my sofa! Mindy was a pleasure to work with. She always returned my calls and stayed on top of the situation to expedite my perfect outcome! What a gem!

We had an excellent experience at Belfort with our sales rep Betts Brown. She was very helpful in finding options within our budget that matched our style, and seemed excited to work with us even though we were only purchasing for one room. She wasn't pushy. We came back multiple times, changed our minds a lot, stayed late deciding on fabrics, arranged for out of state delivery--and Betts was on top of it all, in person, on the phone and by email.

When there was a minor delivery issue and I had trouble getting in touch with the warehouse, I reached out to Betts who made sure it was being taken care of. Our delivery was on time and efficient.

Belfort itself has a wide selection of quality pieces, though so do a lot of stores. (And we visited them all.) The service we received is what really stood out.
