A Family Room for All: Even the Dog! by Toni Salazar

Amy has been a Belfort client for many years. She never had a problem buying furniture, but felt challenged when she wanted to update her family room. With a family of 5 plus a dog, she was not sure how to incorporate all her needs in the family room while making it aesthetically pleasing. The challenge was to create a family-friendly, comfortable area to watch TV in a room that only had 1 useful wall.

To accomplish the vision she had for the family room, we used a beautiful down cushion leather sectional that can seat 4 people, a fabric recliner to soften the brown leather, and a fabric cocktail table that can be used for extra seating if necessary. We used a small TV console that worked perfectly in the designated space. For color inspiration, Toni used a picture that the client wanted to keep in the room as sentimental value.

The rug Toni chose anchored the room and helped to incorporate those colors and more. Without over powering the room, Toni balanced out the colors in the window treatments, pillows, wall art and lamps. The room looks warm, cozy and functional and her main goal was accomplished.
